Adam Sprecace for New London City Council

Thank you all who supported me and who voted for me!  I'm looking forward to helping New London reach the potential we all know it has.  Being in the minority on a 5-2 council will probably be difficult at times, but to paraphrase what I said in a recent edition of The Day, if all those elected stick to what they've said over the course of the campaign, then I am optimistic about the future.  Thanks again and feel free to contact me with any questions or comments.  - Adam

Adam's campaign for the City Council focused on a vision he has for improving New London and maintaining its success.  Action in five key areas will determine whether New London can sustain its revitalization.  Adam's five keys and goals are:
  1. Housing:  Increase the percentage of owner-occupied residences in New London and encourage municipal employees to live in the City.
  2. Public Safety:  Expand the Police presence and ensure Firefighter staffing is at a level commensurate with a growing community.
  3. Development:  Review and facilitate the prompt implementation of the Municipal Development Plan and inspire support from all City residents to move forward.
  4. Education: Promote parental involvement in schools and support legislation which calls on the State to fully fund all education expenses.
  5. Infrastructure: Analyze the City's infrastructure and complete a city-wide network of sidewalks.
Adam is planning to work with other members of the City Council to implement these ideas and bring lasting success to New London.
