Adam Sprecace for
New London City Council
Adam Sprecace Biographical Information Adam Sprecace, 41, is a native and nearly life-long resident of New London. Before moving back to the City in 2006 with his wife Jean and daughters Samantha, and Kaila, Adam lived in Groton where he has worked at Electric Boat, currently as a Principal Engineer, since 1994. Adam is a graduate of St. Bernard High School, received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer, and is one of Connecticut’s licensed Professional Engineers. Adam is serving his second term on the New London City Council and is the Council liaison to the Save Ocean Beach Committee, the Conservation Commission, the Personnel Board, and the Port Authority. Adam is also currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Pequot Point Beach Company and serves as its Treasurer. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Whaling City Restoration Committee and has volunteered for New London Main Street. Adam is a Private Pilot, host of the public access TV show Common Sense, Revisited, and the youngest son of Dr. and Mrs. George Sprecace's five children.
